Delete it yourself, in the app
- Open VersePath.
- Tap the profile tab at the bottom of the screen.
- Scroll to the bottom and tap Delete my data.
- Confirm. Everything below is erased immediately.
You do not need an account to do this. If you have never signed in, the app still
holds what you have written, and this erases it just the same.
Delete it by email
If you have already uninstalled the app, or you cannot reach that screen, write to
support@vmikiproductions.com from
the email address you signed in with and ask us to delete your account. We will
confirm when it is done.
If you only ever used VersePath without signing in, there is no email address
attached to your data and we have no way to tell which records are yours. In that
case the in-app button is the only route — please use it before uninstalling.
What is deleted
Everything tied to your account, permanently, with no recovery:
- Your account itself, and your email address if you signed in with Google.
- Every verse you have saved, together with its explanation.
- What you wrote about your situation — the text you typed to find a verse.
- Which chapters you have explored.
- Your subscription record on our side, and how many verses you have received.
This is immediate, not scheduled. There is no grace period and no undo.
What is kept, and why
-
Server logs — our servers record technical entries such as which
verse was returned, how long a request took and whether an error occurred. These
never contain what you wrote. They age out on our hosting provider's ordinary
retention schedule and are not linked back to you after deletion.
-
Text already sent to our AI provider — to find a verse, what you
wrote is sent to Anthropic, which generates the response. It is sent without your
name, email or any account identifier attached, so it cannot be traced back to
you. Deleting your account removes our copy; it cannot reach back and remove
theirs. Their handling is described in our privacy policy.
-
Payment records — if you have ever subscribed, Google Play holds
the transaction record. We do not control it and cannot delete it; Estonian and EU
accounting law requires that such records be retained regardless.
Deleting your data does not cancel a subscription
Google Play holds your subscription, not us. Erasing your data here
does not stop the billing, and you will keep being charged until you cancel.
Cancel first, in the Play Store: Play Store → your profile icon →
Payments & subscriptions → Subscriptions → VersePath → Cancel.
Then delete your data.
